Pulli copies photos and files from your Android phone to your Mac. It is built so that your data stays yours.
What Pulli collects
Nothing.
Pulli has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not send your files, file names, photos or any information about your phone or Mac to the developer or to anyone else.
What stays on your Mac
To copy reliably and resume after an interruption, Pulli keeps a record of your copies on your Mac only: which files were copied, where to, and their checksums, plus small previews (thumbnails) of phone photos you browse. You can delete all of it at any time with History › Clear History. Removing Pulli removes it too.
When Pulli goes online
- Updates (the version downloaded from GitHub): Pulli checks
raw.githubusercontent.com/ijahongirmirzo/pullifor a newer version. GitHub sees an ordinary web request, like visiting a web page. You can turn automatic checks off in Settings. The App Store version is updated by the App Store instead. - Send Feedback opens an email in your own mail app, addressed to the developer, with your Pulli and macOS versions and your phone's model filled in. Nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself, and you can read and change it first.
Pulli also runs a small local server on your Mac (address 127.0.0.1) so Finder can show your phone under Locations. It only accepts connections from your own Mac.
